From network systems architecture and maintenance to hardcore agile software development using Microsoft technologies.  Software Engineer II, Architect                                                      May 2010 – Present

 Walz Group, Inc, Temecula, California 

 I am currently working on document management, fulfillment and regulatory compliance at Walz by aiding in the design, development and maintenance of several web and desktop based applications using cutting edge technologies. I played an integral role in building a web based document approval system for our client management team to track communications with clients in a centralized repository. I was responsible for implemented MS Team Foundation Server 2010 along with SharePoint Server 2010 including build automation, code level analytics, and team member work item management. Interfaced closely with QA team to identify best practices and usage of TFS Test Manager and associated tools. Over the course of my time I have been a strong technical resource for guidance and training of other team members.

 Senior Developer II, Lead Architect                                              August 2009 – May 2010

 Prospect Mortgage, LLC, Sherman Oaks, California

 At Prospect, I was responsible for leading the focus of the .NET development staff to meet corporate initiatives. I was responsible for mentoring and motivational support to the fundamental software development and project management teams. Additionally, I aligned the development efforts with corporate standards by building out a continuous integration environment. The environments were design, developed, and implemented by myself through lessons learned from best practices in continuous integration, best practices in unit testing, and collaborative team environments. Built large scale web based loan tracking and reporting metrics application using ASP.NET MVC which allowed managers to gain granular real-time insight into active loan pipeline statuses and warehouse inventories. I played intimate role in deploying and configuring an enterprise level clustered SQL Server environment providing high availability to core company applications which bolstered the availability, security, and redundancy of company data. Streamlined access to principal company data via web services in a secure manner.

 Database Manager, Analyst                                                                May 2007 – July 2009

 Wildermuth Environmental, Lake Forest, California

 Successfully drove the database systems team and data into an enterprise class facility. Working with immense volumes of groundwater elevation and quality data dating back nearly 100 years, I lead in the designed and development of systems to migrate from archaic systems into SQL Server 2005 systems. Designed and developed several tool for data importation which included complex algorithms to validate and reduce data density without the loss of important scientific data. These allowed Wildermuth to focus more on their science and less on worrying about data validity and integrity. Additionally, we developed a system which allowed our clients to interface with to filter and analyze their data in a very beneficial manner with multifaceted analytical tools and reporting metrics facilities.

 Keyne Insight, Inc, Canyon Lake, California

 Keyne Insight is a company which specializes in management consulting. Their team, which consisted of several seasoned consultants and a couple of psychologists, had crafted a performance management methodology. My time with Keyne consisted of extracting their system from a paper based system into a full blow extensible web based solution. This enabled the company to leverage vast amounts of performance tracking data and deliver a smooth user friendly application with rich data reporting capabilities. From the ground up, from the backend database to the front end ASP.NET application I designed and developed the entire solution. This application not only saved thousands of dollars in data entry fees, it enabled the staff of consultants to deliver a real-time system to their clients and devote more time actually consulting instead of crunching numbers.

 Web Developer, Team Lead                                                               October 2001 – July 2005

 American Home Mortgage, La Jolla, California

 While at American Home mortgage I lead a small team of designers and developers in designing and building a greenfield application which provided an online ecommerce facility for the sales force of the company. Not only did this system allow users to create customized marketing materials it also interfaced with third party venders to procure these items for them. From brochures to cross branding collateral items, the system even fulfilled the needs to contact management for the Loan Officers as well.  Using cutting technologies of the time with ASP.NET 1.0 and later 1.1, this system recently was sold to Prospect Mortgage for $380,000 from Indy Mac and is continuing to add true value to the users of the system.

 Web Developer                                                                                           January 2001 – October 2001

 ICN Pharmaceuticals, Costa Mesa, California

 Troubleshoot and resolve internal & external critical web applications issues quickly and accurately. Quickly assimilate new technologies, in addition to quickly understanding existing application infrastructure. Drove implementation & acceptance of company owned Microsoft applications such as SharePoint Portal, Project Server Proactively consulted with end-users to analyze and understand business requirements, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements of new initiatives. Enhance internal Employee Self Service Web applications to provide more robust functionality. I managed multiple websites and web applications which used a variety of Microsoft technologies.

 Monitored and maintained current inventory levels; processed purchasing orders as required; tracked orders and investigated problems of computer related collateral. Recorded purchases, maintained database, performed physical count of inventory, and reconciled actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Received, unpacked, and delivered goods; re-stocked items as necessary; organized and labeled shelves. Processed and/or approved invoices for payment. Processed and documented returns as required following established procedures. I performed routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting internal customers. I assisted in simple tech support issue from printer issues to imaging machines. Built and maintained company intranet site using ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL Server.
